The rollers or shoes move fluid through the hose or tube, so there is no need for degassing valves. The rollers squeeze the tube to prevent backflow, removing the need for mechanical seals, creating a seal-less system.
The rollers compress the hose and eliminate internal back-flow through the pump. They work like a rotary pinch valve with ±1% repeatability. The movement of the roller or shoe rotation controls the direction of fluid flow, with no internal valves needed.
Selecting the best hose or tube is important to guarantee long life and a low maintenance pump system. The inner lining of the hose is the only surface that comes into contact with the fluid being transferred. We offer many hose material options depending on your pumping needs.
Our engineered hoses are designed to create a combination of mechanical and chemical characteristics to handle demanding applications. Hoses can have 2 to 6 inner reinforcement layers and are selected based on hose material and size.
